Home Warranty Program

A home inspection is not a warranty or a guarantee

However, there are warranties available for your home no matter how old it is, where it is or what type of electrical or plumbing it has. A home warranty program is not only available for new homes, such as the warranty program offered through Tarion.

What is available for present home owners is a Home Systems Warranty, provided through National Underwriting Data Incorporated. This warranty covers any AGE, STYLE, SIZE and LOCATION of a home. Coverage can be purchased for one, two or three years and includes: Coverage for repairs is up to $10,000.00 per year! and covers all the major components in a house such as Roof leaks, Emergency Plumbing repairs, Heating (furnace & boiler), Electrical systems (including Knob & Tube wiring), Water Heater and even the repairs to eleven (11) permanent and semi-permanent appliances. Your home systems warranty will also pay up to $500* toward your home owner's insurance premium if a covered breakdown results in a home insurance claim.

Is the warranty available only when I buy a house?

NO, you can order a Home Warranty even if you have owned your house for years, or even if another company did the home inspection. Simply call me to do a Warranty Inspection (Typical fee is $129.00. Much less than a full home inspection) and I will inspect and fill in the appropriate Underwriting Form that goes with your house. Home System Warranty will require you to have an Approved Warranty Inspector to inspect and document the findings, before you are able to order the warranty.

How much does the warranty inspection cost?

If the warranty information is collected during your home inspection- whether sellers or buyers inspection; Nothing. However, to come to your house and inspect the components for the warranty coverage, the fee is $129.(+GST)
