Aluminum wiring concerns

Aluminum wiring is often found in homes built, or renovated, between the mid 60's to late 70's. There have been some concerns with aluminum wiring and some insurance providers are leery of it when it comes to insuring your home. They may request an inspection by a licensed electrician, or possibly charge an additional premium due to its presence.
